This is Mt Arlberg

Arlen is the name given to the Swiss pine trees that grow here at nearly 1,800 metres above sea level. That’s where Mt Arlberg gets its name. For centuries, the pass has connected the East and West, Tyrol and Vorarlberg. In the Middle Ages, merchants and pilgrims crossed the snowy mountain. The Arlberg railway was built in 1884 with the world’s longest tunnel at the time. And then came Hannes Schneider, who revolutionised Alpine skiing in 1907, making St. Anton the birthplace of modern skiing. In short: Mt Arlberg is a myth made of snow, nature, power, and history.

The powder at Mt Rendl calls for fresh tracks. In the evening, you share your stories at the Schindler Bar with rosy cheeks, while new snowflakes fall outside.
